bushfutures is launching The Halo Project for you.

Open to anyone aged 15 to 25 who lives, works or studies in Hammersmith and Fulham

Over five months participants will develop a new play by working with Bush directors and writer Simon Vinnicombe (Writer of Year 10).  You will gain acting, improvisation and physical performance skills and learn how to create theatre from your own and others stories. 

The Halo Project will focus on the area of Shepherds Bush and discover and dramatise stories from the community here.  In August the new show you make will be presented on The Bush stage.

No previous experience necessary

Auditions will be held in the first week of April in Shepherds Bush

The auditions will be fun and informal.  You will not be expected to have anything prepared.  Just come with a smile on your face, ready to meet new friends and dressed in soft comfortable clothes you can move and perform in (track pants and trainers are ideal).

Commitment:  Rehearsals will be held weekly between April and July with a short break for anyone with exams.  These rehearsals will be in evenings and weekends.
In August there will be 3 full weeks of Rehearsal before a technical week and 3 evening performances at The Bush Theatre.  You will need to be available during week days over this time.

bushfutures is a groundbreaking education, training and development programme that allows emerging theatre professionals and members of the local community to access the expertise of Bush writers, directors, designers, technicians and actors.
