Thanks to your incredible support, The Bush Theatre has retained its funding. The groundswell of support from the industry, our audiences and the community at large has been overwhelming and we are delighted with this announcement from Arts Council England. What lies ahead is the need to address the concerns about our building. We saved our company, now let’s save our theatre.

This decision means we are now able to announce the rest of our Spring season of new plays. In April we will present Lucy Kirkwood’s strange and surreal futuristic comedy Tinderbox and, in June, Anthony Weigh’s ambitious and challenging social drama 2,000 Feet Away. More details to follow.

Now on Sale: Artefacts by Mike Bartlett

This brilliant play from nabokov comes from the first writer ever to have their debut play performed at the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs. Mike Bartlett has been described as “One of the most exciting new talents to emerge in recent times” (The Stage). His first play My Child was called “Brutal, thrilling, unmissable” (Evening Standard) and “The theatrical equivalent of a firecracker” (Metro).
