On a bright and Wintry morning in Southwark, with a fabulous breakfast laid on by the Jerwood Space, we launched our new website for playwrights and theatre practitioners. It has social networking and publishing and is called bushgreen.
Anthea gave the most fantastic presentation and talked a large group of publishers, playwrights, agents, practitioners and press (there's some great coverage on whatsonstage) through the site. Most importantly, this was our chance to thank the Jerwood Charitable Foundation for the great leap of imagination and faith they put into the Bush eighteen months ago, when they funded the project.
The response was truly enthusiastic, and we're thrilled to see how the site will grow from its pioneering group of 500 test users. A big thanks to them and everyone whose input, ideas and challenges have built the site with us.
