We're big foodies here at Bush Towers. Check out this photo of our impressive spread at the opening Night party for The Great British Country Fete if you don't believe me. Betty Blythe, local purveyors of traditional English teas, served up delicious canapes, scrumptious sausages, and some seriously moreish cupcakes. All of which disappeared pretty sharpish.
Parties aside, the question of pre or post theatre dinner is a tricky one. Grab a hurried sandwich on the way, or risk a rumbling stomach and eat after? Over on the Guardian Theatre Blog, the suggestion is to wait until the curtain falls before chowing down. However, if you'd rather not wait that long, then Bush neighbour Vesbar is offering 20% off their pre-theatre menu when you produce your ticket for a show.
Over in the Westfield, Italian eatery Fire and Stone caters for the more nocturnal diner, with last orders at 11:15pm. They're also offering 20% off your total bill when you show them your ticket.
And if that wasn't enough, ticket holders who are under 26 can collect a Walkabout Boomerang card from the box office, which gives you 25% off food and drink at any Walkabout, and can be used repeatedly.
