Josie blogged earlier this week about Pilot Theatre's Digital Theatre Conference, Shift Happens 2.0 at York Theatre Royal. At the conference, she spoke about our planned new site for playwrights and theatre people Bushgreen. We're pleased to see an honourable mention in today's Guardian blog about the site from Lyn Gardner. She writes here about the importance of digital and online communities for the future of theatre. Bushgreen, our new initiative, supported by the Jerwood foundation, will provide new ways for writers to connect with us and with each other as well as opportunities for them to publish their plays online. The publishing will be a crucial tool for us to advocate work to other producers and to promote playwrights around the world. We are all very excited about its possibilities and hope that you'll be a part of its design and creation. Please contact us if you'd like to get involved and watch this space for more updates on BushGreen.
