Los Molinos: spanish tapas

4th March, 2010 by Bethany Ann McDonald | 0 comments

This past Tuesday evening, Tara Wilkinson, Sophie Coke-Steel & myself ventured down the road to try out one of our local restaurants, Los Molinos. Here at the Bush, we always love to keep in touch with our surrounding businesses because that way we can give you our best recommendations for bars and restaurants to visit before and after our shows - and let me tell you, Los Molinos comes with one high recommendation.

At this family-run Spanish tapas restaurant, we were met by son Ruben who made us feel right at home with his welcoming presence - and we couldn't help but notice the ceramic plates positioned on the wall which so reminded us of the teacups that seem to flower each Bush event.

Halfway through our delicious meal of stuffed artichokes, grilled calamari, and sumptuous cheeses, owner Jose came out to meet us. It has to be said, we were each completely taken by how friendly he was and by the time he finished showing us around the warmly lit premises, we decided we wanted him as part of our family. So since we can't ACTUALLY ask him to be our long lost relative, we would like to welcome all of Los Molinos into our family at the Bush and recommend you to go there. Not only is it romantic and a brief walk from our theatre, they will give you 20% off your food bill from 6-8pm with the presentation of a valid theatre ticket and their kitchen doesn't close until 10:45pm which means you can go after the show & discuss the finer points of the play over mouth-watering tapas!

Just click the link below to see a menu and when you go, please say hello for us!
