DON’T MISS THE FIRST SHOW AT THE NEW BUSH THEATRE
This October, the Bush Theatre will open the doors to its new home with Sixty-Six Books, an epic performance cycle featuring over 200 artists from across the globe.
From all faiths and none, from over a dozen countries and across five continents, sixty-six remarkable playwrights, poets, songwriters and novelists speak to each book of the King James Bible, filling the new Bush Theatre with contemporary responses to some of the greatest stories ever told.
Sixty-Six Books will begin and end with two epic twenty-four hour events on the 14th and 28th of October where you can experience all the sixty-six responses and spend the night exploring our new home from the attic to the cellar. You can relax between shows in our front room, or dance the night away in our pop-up nightclub . We'll keep you going with tasty food, drinks, and a special goodie bag.
During the week, you can visit the new Bush and see a selection of responses each night. Sixty-Six Books will travel to Westminster Abbey for a special, twelve-hour overnight vigil on the 21st of October. You can also listen to a selection of responses for free in special phone boxes located around Shepherd's Bush and the Southbank.
Book now to be there for the opening of the brand new Bush Theatre.
