Concerning Faith in response to 1 Timothy
David Edgar's work has been presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and many repertory companies, as well as on television, radio and film. His best known work includes Ball Boys (Bush), Destiny and Nicholas Nickleby (RSC), Albert Speer (National), and three plays about Eastern Europe after the cold war (The Shape of the Table for the National and Pentecost and The Prisoner's Dilemma for the RSC). His new play about the making of the King James Bible, Written on the Heart, opens at Stratford in October. He founded Britain's first postgraduate course in playwriting and wrote How Plays Work. He is President of the Writers' Guild.
