white city youth theatre
White City Youth Theatre is based in the heart of White City, West London. They meet every Monday in St George’s church which is situated in the heart of the housing estate. It consists of a junior group for young people aged 8-11 years and a senior group for young people aged 12- 18 years.
Last month, the Bush commissioned playwright Nathan Bryon to work alongside White City Youth Theatre to devise a play about living in Shepherds Bush and White City Estate. We spent a week, devising, playing games, brain storming and interviewing members of the community which resulted in a performance on the old Bush stage at to friends and family at the end of the week.
