Thank you to everyone who applied. Applications are now closed.

Hijabi Monologues London is part of an international theatre project which encourages and provides a safe space for Muslim women to creatively communicate their diverse experiences in their own words – unfiltered and uncensored. Our production, directed by Milli Bhatia, will feature a series of monologues from both local and international writers, weaving stories of Muslim women from our doorstep with the experiences of Muslim women in other parts of the world. It will run for three days: 28-30 Sep 2017

The Bush Theatre is now looking for passionate and creative women to bring the pieces to life on stage. You don’t have to have performed before, but should feel comfortable learning lines by heart and performing in front of an audience. We welcome applications from women of all backgrounds, ethnic groups, ages and abilities.
