Boo! is a paranormal queer drama that collides love, sex, and death. Written by Alistair Hall (BBC Voices 2024, Declan, Underbelly Edinburgh) and directed by Joseph Winer (I F*cked You In My Spaceship, Soho Theatre).

After his husband dies, repressed office worker Bill is plagued with unexpected sexual desires. He departs on a hedonistic holiday to Spain, where a series of mysterious encounters reveal the truth behind his marriage and alter the course of his life forever.

Writer
Alistair Hall is an actor and writer from Wiltshire. He is part of BBC Voices 2024. His debut play Declan featured on The Guardian’s ‘Best Online Theatre’ during lockdown and then premiered at Underbelly, Edinburgh Fringe in 2023. Alistair is currently developing a TV adaptation of Declan. He graduated from RADA in 2020. Recent acting credits include: ‘Family Tree’ (Actors Touring Company) and his own one-person play ‘Declan’ (Underbelly Edinburgh, Camden People’s Theatre)

Joseph Winer work as Director includes: I Fucked You in My Spaceship (Soho Theatre & VAULT Festival – Winner of Origins Award for Outstanding New Work), Drag Baby (Pleasance Theatre/King Head’s Theatre), Don’t Smoke in Bed (VAULT Festival), The Happy Prince (Watford Palace/Imagine Watford), 9 to 5 The Musical (City Academy/POSK Theatre) and Pictland (Katzpace/Watford Fringe). Assistant Director credits include Bellringers (Roundabout, Summerhall), Hamlet (Iris Theatre) and Scab (Arcola). He is an alumnus of Soho Theatre Writers’ Lab (Tony Craze Award Longlist) and has directed over thirty productions with young people and community groups.
