Four plays. One writer. No preparation.
In a celebration of Nassim Soleimanpour's work, we bring together all four of the Iranian theatre-maker's plays in repertory over a week.
Nassim Soleimanpour’s work is unique in that it requires no rehearsals, no preparation. Just a sealed envelope and a different performer each night reading a script for the first time.
Nassim Plays includes the self-titled Nassim, commissioned by the Bush Theatre and directed by Omar Elerian; international hit White Rabbit Red Rabbit, presented by Aurora Nova; BLANK (Bush Theatre’s RADAR 2015 and Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2016), presented by Aurora Nova, and new play Cook, co-created by Nassim Soleimanpour and the Danish writer and director Jesper Pedersen.
This retrospective follows a five star hit run of Nassim at the Traverse Theatre as part of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it won a Fringe First award.
