National Theatre Connections is a nationwide celebration of new plays for young people.

The Bush Theatre will present 5 brand new plays written for the festival performed by 9 young companies.

From the writer of BAFTA nominated film Lady Macbeth and Anatomy of a Suicide (Royal Court Theatre) comes Alice Birch’s [BLANK] about the children and adults effected by the criminal justice system.

These Bridges by Phoebe Eclair-Powell shapes a fearful future when the Thames bursts its banks and submerges London. How do we form our allegiances and beliefs? Fiona Doyle’s The Ceasefire Babies asks whether we make our own decisions or inherit them.

The Blue Electric Wind by Brad Birch is about about bravery and about growing up. Set in and around a swimming pool, The Changing Room by Chris Bush follows a group of teens full of excitement, impatience and uncertainty.
