We are a space for people to come together. Through our activities and our work on stage, the Bush champions new voices, unheard stories and reflects our culturally diverse area.
Whether you are a beginner, natural performer, introvert or extrovert – if you want to express yourself, meet new people or develop creative skills, we want to create with you!
Shared Reading Group
We run a Shared Reading Group in partnership with The Reader throughout the year.
If you are interested in contemporary plays, come and join us! You do not need to have any acting experience and you don’t have to be a strong reader.
Our Shared Reading Group is relaxed and informal. It’s a great way to meet new people and read plays from our exciting season of work.

Expressive Writers’ Group
We run an Expressive Writers’ Group project throughout the year. Expressive Writers’ Group is not a playwriting course but a supportive environment to express yourself through creative writing.
The group is relaxed and informal and you do not need any previous experience in writing or theatre. Expressive Writers Group is a great way to meet new people from your area and try out different styles of creative writing.
