Writer and star Waleed Akhtar sat down with TV personality and cultural producer Ryan Lanji to talk representation, politics and the incredible response to The P Word.
Ryan Lanji is a Cultural Producer and TV personality, who is currently appearing in BBC Three’s Proud Party Agency, and won Netflix’s Big Flower Fight. He also founded iconic Bollywood queer club night HUNGAMA, described as “somewhere between a rave and an act of resistance” in Another Man Magazine.
Ryan joined Waleed in Soho’s Ku Bar for an funny, meaningful and enlightening in depth chat about telling queer south Asian love stories, representing the community, and what The P Word means for them.
