Tea 4 T is a warm, welcoming free space created by drag performer/therapist Dziej Smith (also known as Richard Energy) from the trans collective ‘sTink’.
Born from equal parts resilience and community care the space offers a gentle pause from the noise of the world a moment where trans folk can simply exist, breathe, and be held by one another’s company.
At its heart, Tea 4 T is intentionally simple: a place to share a cuppa, settle into conversation, and the opportunity to take part in an interactive poetry activity.
This is a drop in event. Please feel free to arrive and leave whenever suits you during the event. A ticket to this event will also give you access to the two other Protest events in the building on the same day.
This event is part of our Protest takeover day
Following the Supreme Court ruling on the legal definitions of sex and gender, we launched an open call for trans artists as part of our Protest series. This event is one of the outcomes of that open call.
Our Protest series is an ongoing strand of work – including quick-fire commissions, collaborations and events – designed to enable artists to respond to the world in a way that is dynamic and held with care.
Recommended for ages 18+, or 14+ if accompanied by an adult.

Dziej Smith comes as a member of ANTIFA focused trans collective: ‘sTink’.
They are a performer and therapist. his drag alter ego: Richard Energy (he/they) can be found gigging and hosting up and down the country. From queer basements to West End stages.
Dziej (Richard Energy’s alter ego) is a therapist in training and has been sitting with clients on his clinical placement for almost a year.
Tea 4 T is a marrying of both sides of Dziej – bringing art and therapeutic space together.
