Directing Monologues: Workshop with Madani Younis

Getting Your Work From Page to Stage

Hijabi Monologues London is part of an international project focusing on the real life experiences of international and local Muslim women. The project will culminate in a production at Bush Theatre (28-30 Sep 2017). It features the unseen stories of communities rarely given a voice.

In the lead up to the production, we’re keen to offer a skill sharing and workshop on the ins and outs of directing a monologue for the stage. Artistic Director of the Bush Theatre, Madani Younis will be leading the session. It is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into what directing a production looks like.

When: Fri 29 Sep, 4.30-6pm
Where: Studio, Bush Theatre
How much: Free (but book a place)

The workshop is free but you must book your place to attend. Please email [email protected] or call 020 8743 5050 to book. The workshop is open to all directors or aspiring directors but the Bush is particularly interested to hear from women of colour and Muslim women.
