Sophie Wu’s Best Moments on Screen

Sophie Wu has done some pretty great movies and shows as an actress, from Wild Child to Kiss Ass and Fresh Meat to The Fades. But did you know she’s a playwright too?

Coming to the Bush Theatre in Sep 2017 is her bittersweet new play about the gravity of young love Ramona Tells Jim. It stars Ruby Bentall (Poldark), Amy Lennox (Kinky Boots) and Joe Bannister (RSC Roaring Girls Season).

For now, lets look back at some of Sophie Wu’s best moments on screen.

1. She’s part of that most iconic of all Wild Child moments with Emma Roberts. Who ARE we?

2. Closely followed by this glorious display of trust and female friendship.

3. And how could you forget THESE outfits.

 4. Remember when Heather broke up with Kinsley on Fresh Meat?

5. She played this cutie-pie in Kick Ass and Kiss Ass 2.

6. And here’s Jay: “I always wanted to be different. I was a bit of a hairbrush princess, you know – think I’m a popstar. I don’t know – my Dad thinks I’m better than everyone…” (The Fades)

7. Did you watch The Midnight Beast on E4? ZOE EYE STILL LOVE YOU. Ridiculous.

Enough of all that. You can see Sophie Wu’s brand new play Ramona Tells Jim 20 Sep – 21 Oct 2017 in the Bush Theatre Studio. Find out more and book Ramona Tells Jim here.
