THE OVEN GLOVE MURDERS

From the Daily Telegraph:

'THE OVEN GLOVE MURDERS at the Bush Theatre, was an acerbic response to the British cinema revival led by Chariots of Fire. The director, Mike Bradwell, recalled that the windows giving on to the Goldhawk Road were opened and a set built on the roof, 'so it seemed as though Mark Wing-Davey fondling his Oscar was actually on the opposite side of the street. This stunt was entirely justified by the audience's terrified reaction as Tim Roth in mid-sentence nightly appeared to fall out of the window and plunge to his death below.'
