The Bruntwood Prize is the search for great new plays – the biggest national competition of its kind. Winning plays have been produced at the Royal Exchange Theatre and beyond. The Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting 2013 will be open for submissions in January 2013. More information on writeaplay.co.uk from 25 September 2012.

In the run up to the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting 2013, these workshops will help you put pen to paper, create stories on stage and bring your ideas and imagination to life. The workshop will be led by a Bruntwood Prize-winning playwright and the New Writing Associate at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
