BUSH BERKELEY BEANO

Sold out

For one night only, on Thursday 26 September 2013, the Bush Theatre will invade the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair in Berkeley Square, Mayfair.

The private party kicks off from 6pm and will be whimsical and out of left field, a bit like us: often surprising, sometimes subversive, always original.

Romances and adventures, true stories and tall tales . . . inspired by the wonderful art and antiques of the LAPADA exhibitors, the Bush will strut its theatrical stuff around the fair while you enjoy champagne, cocktails and canapés designed by Mark Hix.

Party Ticket with a Private View of the Fair
18:00 – 20:30

Benedict Lombe from our Emerging Writers Group writes about diasporic experience. It’s 3am. I’m sitting in my room wolfing down a pack of Doritos and thinking about the night I just had. I’m also thinking – quite intensely – about who decided we needed more than one flavour of Doritos? Bro, you hit the jackpot…

Vital to the three-hander is Rachael Merry, who uses BSL interpretation to convey the poetic beauty of Ahmed’s language . Rachael talks to us about the show, language, and the role of accessibility…
