House Party

Sold out

Turn up the music. Help yourself to food and drink. Make yourself comfortable. This is your house.

A huge part of dismantling power structures is questioning the ways in which we use and access public spaces. How do we retake control of public spaces? After workshops and conversations investigating possible ways to invert the use of the Bush Theatre, Project 2036 have decided to take the radical action of: throwing a house party.

Whether you’ve been to the Bush a hundred times or you’ve never been to any theatre before, this party is about engaging with the Bush’s Studio space in a new way.

I’m also thinking – quite intensely – about who decided we needed more than one flavour of Doritos? Bro, you hit the jackpot…
