John Kearns: Don’t Worry They’re Here

John Kearns is the only ever winner of both the Best Show and Best Newcomer prize at the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards. He presents his latest stand-up show, in an hour of “richly idiosyncratic comedy, frequently compared to Tony Hancock” (The Guardian).

Following highly acclaimed, sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and at London’s Soho Theatre, John dons his false teeth and monk wig for his debut UK tour. Directed by Jon Brittain (Olivier Award winner).

As seen starring in BBC3’s Top Coppers, guesting on Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats and heard on his own BBC Radio Four series.

There must be magic in the atmosphere By Benedict Lombe

Benedict Lombe from our Emerging Writers Group writes about diasporic experience. It’s 3am. I’m sitting in my room wolfing down a pack of Doritos and thinking about the night I just had. I’m also thinking – quite intensely – about who decided we needed more than one flavour of Doritos? Bro, you hit the jackpot…
