Venue Assistant

Bush Theatre is looking for enthusiastic and proactive Venue Assistants to work as part of  the venue team in order to provide the best possible visitor experience and maximise revenue for the theatre. 

We are looking for casual staff to work primarily Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Shifts are generally 3.5 to 5 hours in length with doubles available on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Please note that this position requires working on site.

Hours: Variable with a focus on evenings and weekends

Salary: £11.95 per hour worked

Contract type: Casual

In this role you will:

  • Greet visitors to the Bush Theatre in a warm and friendly manner, supporting people with any access requirements
  • Set-up and clean all relevant areas including the Library Cafe Bar, terrace and other rooms
  • Maximise sales for the organisation
  • Prepare and serve drinks and food according to agreed standards
  • Support and adhere to all health and safety processes
