For the last three years, the Bush Theatre has offered an annual Associate Playwright position funded by the Leverhulme Trust.

The scheme allows one playwright to work closely with the theatre’s Literary Department for one year and is aimed at providing specific creative support to artists as well as providing a broad context and understanding of the workings of a new writing theatre.
