The Bush Theatre is dedicated to nurturing new writing at all levels, from emerging artists to established artists seeking to try something new. Throughout the year we offer a variety of ways for artists to make work with us. Read more about the ways you can get involved using the menu on the right.

We run an Expressive Writers’ Group project throughout the year. Expressive Writers’ Group is not a playwriting course but a supportive environment to express yourself through creative writing.

The group is relaxed and informal and you do not need any previous experience in writing or theatre. Expressive Writers Group is a great way to meet new people from your area and try out different styles of creative writing.

This group is not intended for theatre professionals.
